Our Tradition


The farm "Principato di Lucedio" is located in Trino, in the

province of Vercelli, in the "heart" of the Piedmont

rice-growing region.

"Heart" is really the right word here, is really the right word

here, founders of the Abbey of Lucedio in 1123 who were the

first to introduce to Italy - in Lucedio itself - the cultivation

of rice in around 1400 AD.
