The Abbey of Lucedio is open every day to the public under previous reservation.
The visit includes the “Sala dei Conversi” (Converse Hall), the Chapter House, the Cloister, the Refectory and the Gallery. In addition to the medieval part, it is also possible to visit the Farming-estate of Lucedio where you can find out about the various phases of rice cultivation and production.
To the tour you can also add a tasting of typical specialties from the area (as the famous risotto of Lucedio!).
Tastings can be booked for a minimum of 15 participants.
The farm’s shop “Tentazioni di Riso” offers the whole range of products produced in the Principato di Lucedio: classical risotto rice and peculiars ones, rice pasta, spelt pasta, flours, legumes and biscuits.
For public guided tours of the Abbey on Sunday, without previous reservation and minimum number of participants, please see the availability by clicking here.
